Boil Water Advisory For Mallard Point Area Of Georgetown
A boil water advisory was issued Thursday, October 23, 2014, for Kentucky American Water customers in the Mallard Point area of Georgetown.
This advisory affected all customers north of Harbor Village Drive up to and including customers on Wright Lane.
The advisory was the result of a water main break at 3137 Cincinnati Pike (US 25) in Georgetown.
Approximately 375 Kentucky American Water customers were affected.
During a boil water advisory, it is recommended that customers boil for three minutes any tap water they intend to use for consumption, such as for drinking, cooking or making ice.
After boiling water, let it cool before consuming.
Customers should continue this practice for 24 hours from the time the boil water advisory is issued unless notified by Kentucky American Water to continue doing so.

The center is available 24 hours a day.
