Body armor donated to K-9 in Laurel County

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Body armor was donated Wednesday to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office for its K-9 ‘Edge.’

Emma and Phil McDonald say they donated the protective gear as a show of support for the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff John Root says the support of businesses and citizens for the sheriff’s office has always been overwhelming.
