Board votes not to rehire Scott County superintendent

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Scott County Board of Education voted Thursday not to renew the contract of Superintendent Patricia Putty, according to a report in the Georgetown News-Graphic.

The newspaper report says the vote was unanimous.

The report says the school district’s Website shows that Putty will retire after her current contract expires on June 30, 2016.
