Bluegrass Crime Stoppers Wanted Person of the Week
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on multiple warrants.
Police say they are searching for Tomiaz Layne, who is wanted on charges including first-degree burglary, felon in possession of a handgun, and fourth-degree assault involving domestic violence with minor injury.
Authorities say Layne also has an unserved emergency protection order and an active parole violation warrant.
Layne is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. His date of birth is March 13, 1996.
Anyone with information about Layne’s whereabouts is asked to contact Bluegrass Crime Stoppers. Tips can be submitted anonymously, and information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
