Bluegrass Crime Stoppers seeks tips in deadly Dalton Court shooting case

LEXINGTON, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is highlighting a deadly shooting as this week’s Crime of the Week, hoping new information can help bring justice to a family more than three years later.

On Tuesday, April 7, 2021, around 5:02 a.m., officers with the Lexington Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Dalton Court for reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they located a 35-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other victims were also found suffering from gunshot wounds and were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Lowell Washington.

Investigators continue working the case and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
