Bluegrass Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week: Police searching for Legends Lane burglary suspect
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – This week’s Bluegrass Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week highlights a burglary case on Legends Lane, where Lexington Police are searching for a suspect caught on surveillance video.
According to police, officers responded to the 200 block of Legends Lane on November 16 for a reported burglary. The complainant told officers he arrived to find the front glass door shattered. After reviewing security footage, he saw an unknown suspect throw a large rock through the door around 4:45 a.m.
Police say the suspect then entered the business, took merchandise and fled the area.
The suspect is described as a man in his 40s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing khaki pants, a black sweatshirt and New Balance or Nike tennis shoes.
