Blood drive held in Versailles to help Baily Ford
VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ)- An eight-year-old fighting cancer got a little boost Saturday as folks turned out for a blood drive in her name.
It all took place Saturday morning and afternoon at the Kroger in Versailles. Baily Ford is fighting neuroblastoma. She was diagnosed back in 2011 and since then has gone through frequent platelet, red cell and plasma transfusions.
In conjunction with the Kentucky Blood Center, Baily’s family had folks show up to ensure a strong blood supply for and those like her, in need of transfusions.
