Blackburn escapee caught in Louisville
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An inmate who escaped from a Lexington prison is back behind bars.
Timothy Day was booked into the jail in Louisville on Sunday night on charges of escape and fleeing and evading.
Day was reported missing from the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington back on March 25.
According to the prison, the 36-year-old Day was serving a 15-year sentence for convictions out of Meade County including burglary.
The prison says he would have been eligible for parole in May 2017.
No details on his arrest in Louisville or how he was tracked down there were provided.
