Blackburn escapee back in custody

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The second of two escapees from Blackburn Correctional Facility is now back in custody, Fayette County Jail officials say.

After being on the run since November, Michael Fleet is now in Fayette County Detention Center, the jail’s website says.

According to the website, Fleet was arrested in Bell County before being transported back to Fayette County.

Fleet is charged with 2nd degree escape.

Fleet and Joshua Stephenson escaped from Blackburn Correctional Facility at the end of November.

Stephenson had been arrested in Ohio a few days after the escape.
