Black Friday Art Sale – Lexington Art League

Mark Mozingo, with the Lexington Art League (LAL,) tells ABC 36’s Katie Solove about their Black Friday Art Sale, a one-stop shop for all your holiday gifts where you can skip the chaos of the mall and leave the mass production of manufacturing behind.

Local artists will set up pop-up shops inside LAL’s Loudoun House, located at 209 Castlewood Drive.  The unique sale will be held on Friday, December 2, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and will feature art at $50 dollars or less.

The sale will continue on Saturday, December 3, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with art at any price.

This year, LAL will feature food and drinks from Whooo Wants Waffles?, West Sixth Brewing, Crank & Boom Craft Ice Cream, Daughters’ Southern,and Bluegrass Catering. Special cookie decorating sessions will be held on Saturday with Minton’s at 760. Free child care will also be provided all day Saturday, December 3rd by Our Playhouse Preschool Lexington.

There’s plenty of free parking, and cash, checks, and major credit cards are accepted. Meet artists, learn about their work, and invest in a gift that’s unlike anything else they’ll get all season!
