Angie Ragle joined the ABC 36 Storm Team in January 2024. A native of northern Indiana, Angie earned a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After interning at WSOC in Charlotte, North Carolina, she joined WGXA in Macon, Georgia.
In 3rd grade, Angie discovered her passion for weather during science class and set her dreams on being a meteorologist. She shelved her meteorology dreams to follow another passion- teaching. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education also from UNCC. She loved teaching 3rd and 5th grades, but knew she had to pursue her first love- weather. She then attended night classes while teaching during the day before returning to school full-time in order to complete her meteorology degree.
Angie and her husband, along with their two young children, have resided in Macon, Georgia, Lakeland, Florida, and Chattanooga, Tennessee, before landing in Lexington, where they hope to plant roots and raise their children.
Angie loves to travel, hike and is an avid baseball fan.. go Reds! But nothing comes close to her love for God and her family, who mean the world to her.
