Big L brings big smiles to Kentucky Children’s Hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Lexington Legends’ season starts next week, and after winning the championship last season, the team has been on a traveling trophy tour.

One of its final stops was at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital in Lexington.

The team’s mascot, Big L, roamed the halls and visited patients.

The kids received souvenirs and got to hold the Lexington Legends Championship trophy.

According to the team, this is a great chance to brighten a child’s day.

Opening day for the Legends is April 4th.
