Big Ass Fans surprises employee with donation

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — A Lexington company had a special surprise for one of its employees at its office holiday party Friday.

Big Ass Fans announced it will give the proceeds from the highest grossing day of its recent employee product sale to employee Byron Groves’ charity “The Mind Groves”.

The Mind Groves is a non-profit dedicated to mentoring children and giving them a safe place to play.

This week, BAF will raise money for four additional charities: Surgery on Sunday, Case of Lexington, Greenhouse 17 and Glean KY.

The money raised during the “Week of Giving” will be evenly distributed among the four organizations.
