Big Blue Madness campers receive their free tickets

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Friday was the day solid blue fans were waiting for, getting their Big Blue Madness tickets.

Tent City campers with control cards all got free tickets Friday afternoon and they say it’s all worth it for a prime spot in a couple of weeks.

Marsha Poe a solid blue fan said, “To get lower level tickets, some of will never be able to afford to sit down there. So this is our way and then it’s a way to get to see the players, be able to talk to them and then this becomes a family reunion. You know we try to get our seats together, put our tents together and it’s just really fun.”

Poe said parts of the campout are terrible, like running to a spot for the campout, being stuck in the heat and of course the wait, but in the end, it’s worth it if you’re a true UK fan.
