Big Benny
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Big Benny Snell is a force. He’s 5’11”, 220 pounds of pure wrecking ball that doesn’t have an off switch.
17 rushes for 136 yards and 4 touchdowns in the 62-42 win over New Mexico State Saturday.
Not bad for the true freshman tying the single-game record for most rushing touchdowns.
The depth at running back is getting deeper, especially with the return of Jojo Kemp to the lineup after sitting out last week due to an injury.
Mikel Horton is slipping down the list, but that’s good for everybody (believe it or not) because competition breeds success.
Hear from Mark Stoops and Eddie Gran on Snell’s big game and the race at running back in the video.
