Bevin appoints 3 more to Kentucky Horse Racing Commission
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) – Gov. Matt Bevin has appointed three more people to the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission.
The Kentucky Public Protection Cabinet announced the appointments made Friday. They are equine veterinarian Foster Northrop, Town and Country Farms CEO Kiki Courtelis and Cromwell Bloodstock bloodstock consultant James Gatewood Bell Jr.
Bevin also appointed veterinarian Stuart E. Brown II as a member of the Kentucky Equine Drug Research Council, representing the Horse Racing Commission. Brown replaces Jerry Yon.
The governor revamped the commission in April with 11 new members and one holdover. The appointments Friday bring the commission to full capacity.
