Berea to hold alcohol referendum September 29
BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Richmond Register is reporting a referendum in Berea on September 29 which will allow voters to decide whether large restaurants can serve alcoholic beverages with meals.
The new policy, if passed, would allow restaurants that seat at least 50 people and gross at least 70-percent of their income from food sales to apply for liquor licenses.
Voters can cast their ballots at the Conklin Gymnasium of Berea Community School from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
