Berea PD to ditch their razors for “No Shave November”

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – “No Shave November” is coming and Berea Police Chief David Gregory says the department is about to “get hairy in the name of charity”.

Berea Police Officers are getting a month off from rules requiring them to be clean-shaven and have neatly groomed hair if they give money to their favorite charity.

“No Shave November” started as a way to raise cancer awareness, but the Chief is encouraging officers to donate to any charity that holds a special place for them.

Officers will, however, have to keep their facial hair neatly trimmed.
