Berea officer gets kicked, woman gets arrested
BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Berea Police Department says one of their officers was kicked not once, but twice, by a woman.
Police say the officer was called to a Speedway about a woman causing a disturbance. The officer found her across the street at a Shell station and says she became irritated and argumentative.
The officer says when he tried to speak to her, she kicked him and then kicked him a second time when he tried to arrest her.
Police say 55-year-old Rhoda Larson-Lowing, of Buckley Michigan, was arrested and charged with assaulting an officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
