Berea Makers Market: 2nd Annual Holiday Craft Show
Berea Makers Market presents their 2nd annual Holiday craft show on November 17th, 2018 at the Russel Acton Folk Center! The event features delightful handmade goods from over 55 Kentucky Makers, as well as food trucks, holiday goodies, kids’ activities and more! Admission is free and open to the public. This will be the perfect chance to beat the holiday rush and find amazing gifts for everyone on your list!
Attendees can expect to find an array of handcrafted home goods, modern art prints and decor, jewelry and accessories, handcrafted toys and more. This is the largest market yet, and is an indoor/outdoor show! More details and full list of Makers can be found at www.bereamakersmarket.com.
In addition to handcrafted goods, there will also be great food from several local food trucks, coffee and warm drinks from Cherry Seed Coffee and The Roosters Whistle, as well as holiday treats from Bluegrass and Buttercream. Kids can stop by the kids’ craft booth, and there will be a free hands-on screen printing booth from 1 – 4 PM. Says founder Laura Wick, “Berea Makers Market is a celebration of independent small business, and features a variety of modern handcrafted goods and delightful local food. We’re hoping this new market will help foster a new wave of entrepreneurial energy and help boost the local craft economy.” The Market is organized and produced by a dedicated group of local volunteers who love handmade and want to help grow the local Maker community.
Berea Makers Market is supported in part by Berea Tourism, MACED (Mountain Association for Community Economic Development), and This Is Berea (www.thisisberea.com).
