Berea College President

Berea College’s new president is scheduled to be inaugurated on Saturday. Dr. Lyle Roelofs will become the school’s ninth president. He officially took over last July after the retirement of Larry Shinn, who was president of the college for 18 years.
Roelofs has more than 35 years of experience in teaching and research. The inaugural ceremony is set for 10 a.m. Saturday morning at Seabury Arena.
