The beauty of being the head coach at Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – John Calipari has one national title under his belt in Lexington.  Think about all the teams that should’ve or could’ve won it all.

2010 was pretty good.  The loss to West Virginia still haunts Solid Blue fans and Cal.  The 2011 team overachieved, reaching the Final Four.

The national runner-up team in ’14-’15 was right there and the undefeated ’15-’16 Cats dropped the Final Four game to Wisconsin.

When Cal has a “whip,” as he likes to call it, he’ll crack it.  It’s his way of saying my team is good and I’ll tell everyone.
