Beattyville Police Searching for Missing 71-Year-Old-Woman

BEATTYVILLE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Beattyville Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing woman with medical disabilities.

Police say Linda Kay Smith, 71, of Menifee County, was last seen around 12:30 Saturday afternoon leaving the Travelwise Motel in Beattyville. She was driving a white Toyota Scion with Kentucky license plate ABJ 188, traveling northbound on Kentucky Highway 11.

Smith is described as a female, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 165 pounds, with gray hair, hazel eyes, and glasses. Family members say they have not been able to contact her.
