LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – October in the Bluegrass is busy.

With football in full swing and basketball tipping off, it’s important to remember it’s a big baseball month as well.

First-year head Bat Cat Nick Mingione likes what he’s seeing so far over at Cliff Hagan Stadium.

The guys have to compete for everything…including the right to wear the UK logo on their gear.

It’s all about competition in everything Kentucky does and that has the culture and attitude turned in a positive direction ahead of this weekend’s intrasquad Fall World Series.
