Bat Cats proud of season

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Bat Cats missed out on the NCAA Tournament this year after a magical run to the super regional round last season.

Kentucky had series wins over Georgia, South Carolina and Texas Tech, but carried just a 4-5 record against SEC teams that didn’t make the NCAA: Tennessee, Alabama and Missouri.

While many experts think UK should’ve been in over some other teams, head man Nick Mingione doesn’t put the blame anywhere but squarely at home…despite what he feels was a great resume.
