Barr Recognizes Child Abuse Prevention Month

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTVQ) – Congressman Andy Barr spoke on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives Tuesday to recognize April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. During his speech, Barr honored the work of Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky, a non-profit based in Lexington.

Barr also noted that pinwheels placed around Kentucky and the country during April are the national symbol of child abuse and neglect prevention.
