Barker behind center “will” happen vs. EKU

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Patrick Towles bounced back with arguably the best game of his career in the 21-13 win over Missouri so he’s the top guy behind center moving forward for sure.

But there is the Drew Barker situation to deal with.

You have to start getting him reps to keep him engaged in the system.  Will it happen this Saturday versus EKU?

Barker hasn’t taken the field for a game since his arrival.

He’s had off-field problems work into that a bit…but he’s learned and grown from his mistakes.

That’s what he says anyway.  Head coach Mark Stoops believes it and had this to say (in the video) when asked about getting Barker some pt finally against Eastern.
