Baffert and Lukas talk Justify and Bravazo Belmont prep
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – There’s a week and change before the Belmont Stakes. There’s a week and change before we see if Bob Baffert can win a second Triple Crown.
Justify was back out on the track at Churchill Downs Thursday morning for a light gallop.
Baffert calls the unbeaten Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner his January “walk-on “and to see the progress he’s made is remarkable. All indications point toward success in New York.
Bravazo also hit the track at Churchill Thursday for a good work overall for trainer D. Wayne Lukas.
After finishing 6th in the Kentucky Derby and closing strong to place in the Preakness, there’s a lot to be excited about as the Belmont approaches for the son of 1998 Breeders’ Cup Classic champion Awesome Again.
Hear from Baffert and Lukas in the video.
