Back to School Bike Bash

The Paris–Bourbon County YMCA and The City of Paris Planning Department will host a Back to School Bike Bash on Saturday, August 4, 9:00 am-Noon. Bike Bash is an event to encourage biking activities, endorse bicycle safety, promote the health benefits of this great leisure sport and emphasize local bike-friendly areas, organizations and businesses. There will be a bike rodeo for chil­dren grades 3-5, safety games for younger chil­dren, arts and crafts, food vendors a family bike parade/ride around the city and more. Bring your bike or trike and join us for this free event. Please pre-register for the bike rodeo at www.parisbourbonymca.org or the YMCA, 917 Main St., Paris, Ky. 40361. If you do not have a bike and want to participate in the bike rodeo a limited number of bikes can be provided. Free bike helmets will be given to the first 50 children registered.
