Babysitter charged with giving child alcohol pleads not guilty

LANCASTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lancaster police say a woman poured run and beer into a baby’s sippy cup, and then injured the child.

Investigators say Angela Spoonamore was drunk when she gave her 14-month-old nepher the alcohol while babysitting him.  Police say she later picked the toddler up and threw him on the floor.  According to police, the boy was taken to the hospital with a busted lip.

Spoonamore pleaded not guilty to the charges today in court.
