Axe Throwing is the latest trend in networking

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A first-of-its-kind venue in Lexington is now becoming a popular spot for networking.

The Lexington Young Professionals Association held a networking event at Battle Axes in the Distillery District of Lexington.

“We’re always looking for out of the box networking professional development events,” said Aaron Rothke, President of LYPA.

Battle Axes General Manager Morgan Middleton was a little shocked to see lawyers and financial advisors talking business and drinking beer while throwing axes.

“Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined axe throwing and professional development in the same sentence,” said Middleton.
