Autopsy: Missing man died from methamphetamine intoxication

FRANKLIN, Ky. (AP) – An autopsy of a Franklin man who went missing shows that he died of acute methamphetamine intoxication.

Warren County Deputy Coroner David Goens tells The Daily News (http://bit.ly/2avH09h ) that 37-year-old David Aycock’s death is the first methamphetamine overdose death recorded in Warren County this year.

The Kentucky State Police said in a news release that they found Ayock’s body on June 16 in a wooded area in Warren County about 100 feet from a roadway.

Aycock was reported missing by family the previous day.
