Authors to discuss trends in bourbon industry
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Eight authors who have written books about bourbon are scheduled to open a days-long event giving participants a behind-the-scenes look at Kentucky’s bourbon industry.
The authors will gather on June 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. EDT at the Louisville Mega Cavern. The Kentucky Distillers’ Association says it will be the opening ceremony for this year’s Kentucky Bourbon Affair.
The authors will talk about their books, sign autographs and discuss America’s native spirit.
The Kentucky Bourbon Affair is described as a five-day bourbon fantasy camp that will be held June 3-7. It will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes tours and events at bourbon distilleries.
The authors will include Tim Laird, Bernie Lubbers, Fred Minnick, Susan Reigler, Noah Rothbaum, Albert Schmid, Mike Veach and Molly Wellmann.
