Authorities search for fourth arson suspect

WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Authorities in Wolfe County are continuing their search for a fourth suspect wanted in connection with an arson investigation involving multiple fires.

According to the Wolfe County Sheriff’s Office, Freddy Fletcher is accused of helping start three separate fires last week. Deputies say Fletcher remains at large, and anyone with information that could lead to his arrest is urged to contact the sheriff’s office.

Meanwhile, officials say three other suspects were arrested Saturday in connection with the case. They are identified as 27-year-old Corey Wallen, 36-year-old Brian Harper, and 27-year-old Joshua Spencer.

The sheriff’s office says a grand jury indicted all four suspects on Tuesday. Charges include arson, criminal mischief, and cruelty to animals.

Investigators have not released additional details about the fires or potential motives as the case continues.
