Asphalt repairs continue Monday between Young Dr. and Spurlock Lane

LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 29, 2021) (RELEASE) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. Cross drain installation operations are completed. Ditching and shoulder work are finished. Asphalt repairs will continue Monday with a necessary closure.

Monday, August 30 – 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

The route will be closed between Young Drive and Spurlock Lane:

• asphalt repairs will continue for locations where cross drains were replaced

Ashgrove Road/KY 1980

• the work location is between Young Drive (milepoint 5.016) and Spurlock Lane (milepoint 6.038)
• specific work areas include; milepoints 5.23, 5.42 and 5.60
• addresses near the area; 3090 Ashgrove Road, 3170 Ashgrove Road and 3185 Ashgrove Road

Local residents will have access to their homes.
