Ashland Police officers exposed to fentanyl powder
ASHLAND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Officers in Ashland had a close call yesterday as they were exposed to fentanyl powder.
According to a post on the Ashland Police Department Facebook page, officers made a traffic stop on Tuesday. As the suspect resisted, fentanyl powder was sent airborne.
Paramedics came to the scene, treated the officers and were later released from King’s Daughters Medical Center.
The suspects were arrested and taken to the Boyd County Detention Center.
