Arson investigation underway after deadly Laurel County fire
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Authorities are investigating a deadly house fire that happened over the weekend in Laurel County.
According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the fire broke out Saturday at a home on Cassidy Road. Deputies say 58-year-old Debra Kay Moore was found dead inside the home after crews put out the fire.
The sheriff’s office says the case is being investigated as arson.
