Arrests Made After Woman Held Hostage For Hours

Fritz ended up a captive to four men armed with guns… and never knew why.

She declined to go on camera but told ABC 36 that the men holding her hostage interrogated her about the whereabouts of a man she says she never even knew.

She also says they kept telling her they were going to murder her.

Luckily police say her brother called her after getting worried when she was gone for a while.

Her captors allowed her to answer. That’s when she kept saying "I promise" throughout the conversation….codes word meaning she was in danger.

"He knew when he was talking to her on the phone that things were not exactly right and so he called us and we found the car relatively quickly after his call."

Police say the car was spotted just down the road from the Richmond police station on the Robert R. Martin by-pass.

"An officer attempted to pull over the vehicle, two handguns were thrown out the window, the car was subsequently stopped and four individuals were in the car detaining the victim in this case."

James C. Fleming… David West…Marcus Rogers and Antwon Brown were all arrested and charged with kidnapping and multiple drug trafficking charges.

Fritz says she was not physically harmed…. But says she shook-up by her near-death experience.
