Arrested made in armed robberies in Pulaski County
PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Pulaski County Major Crimes Task Force announced the arrest of a man it says was behind two armed robberies in Pulaski County.
Investigators say 39-year-old Douglas Meadows robbed the Apples Wine and Spirits in Somerset on December 28, 2018.
They say he then robbed the Cash Express in Burnside on January 7.
Investigators say a vehicle involved in the Cash Express robbery belonged to Meadows.
During a search of Meadow’s house, they say they found clothing consistent with the clothing worn by the suspect in both robberies as well as a weapon used in both robberies.
Detectives say Meadows confessed to both robberies.
