Arrest after shots are fired into Lexington home

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police have a suspect after shots are fired into a Lexington home.

Dexter Cooper is accused of firing several shots into a home with three people inside on Logan Place Thursday morning.

An officer heard shots and saw a car leaving the area and stopped the driver.

Court documents say, when police searched the vehicle, they discovered a loaded semi-automatic handgun and eight spent shell casings.

No one in the home was injured.

Cooper faces three counts of wanton endangerment and other charges.
