Arrest after shots fired into Frankfort apartment
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Frankfort Police accuse a man of firing several shots into an apartment with people inside.
Officers were called to Hickory Hills Manor at around 3 a.m. on Thursday after reports of shots fired.
When they got there, they say they found an apartment was struck several times by bullets with a window shot out.
They say there were people inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.
Police say they later arrested 22-year-old Claude Smith III and charged him with burglary, wanton endangerment, assault and tampering with physical evidence.
Smith is currently being held at the Franklin County Regional Jail.
