Arrest made in stabbing in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A fight led to a stabbing in Lexington Wednesday, according to police.

Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 300-block of Martin Luther King Boulevard around 11 a.m.

When they arrived, officers found a man suffering from a stab wound.

He was taken to the hospital with what police say were non life-threatening injuries.

Officers arrested 65-year-old Joseph Silverburg near the scene.

He is charged with assault and possession of a synthetic substance.
