Arrest made in Versailles Road shooting incident
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police have made an arrest following a shooting on Versailles Road that sent three people to the hospital early Saturday morning on October 19.
Police say officers responded to the 1500 block of Versailles Road around 6:45 a.m., locating two victims who had been shot. Both individuals were taken to a local hospital; one victim was reported with life-threatening injuries, while the other had non-life-threatening injuries. Shortly after, a third individual with non-life-threatening injuries arrived at the hospital, also linked to the incident.
Jacob Fogal, 20, has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the shooting. He is currently held at the Fayette County Detention Center. Additionally, according to police, Christopher Reed, 39, was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (Methamphetamine).
Police say this investigation remains active.
