Arrest made in connection to fatal shooting of teen

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the July 19th shooting death of C’aveyoun Robinson.

Robert Constant, 36, was taken into custody Wednesday, and has been charged with Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.

The investigation began on July 19, when officers were sent to the 1800 block of Liberty Road just before 5:00 a.m. in response to a reported shooting. When they got there, police found a male victim in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and later identified by the coroner’s office as Robinson.
