Armed robbery at hotel in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say they hope security camera video will help them identify and ultimately catch a man they say held-up a hotel Tuesday evening.

Investigators say around 8:00 p.m., a man wearing a hoodie walked-in to the Bluegrass Extended Stay on Richmond Road, pulled out a black handgun, demanded money from the clerk, got it and ran out the door toward Woodhill Drive.

Police brought in a K-9 to try to track the suspect, but that search was unsuccessful.

Investigators say no one was hurt.
