Area fast-pitch softball team raising money to travel to national tourney

VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) – Six years of dedication, sacrifice and hard-work paid off for the ‘Stunners,’ a fast-pitch softball team with many players from central Kentucky. The team qualified for the Premier Girls Fast-Pitch 16-U National Tournament to be held later this month in California.

Only 64 teams in the United States get a chance at the national title. The team doesn’t want to miss out on an opportunity it earned by not being able to afford the trip to the west coast.
