Couple dead, daughter injured in apparent murder-suicide

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Frankfort couple is dead and their teenage daughter injured in an apparent murder-suicide, according to investigators.

Kentucky State Police are officially calling the case a death investigation.

KSP says the initial call came-in as a domestic dispute at a home on Green Wilson Road around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Investigators say when they arrived on the scene they found 51-year old Larry Hollon, of Frankfort, shot to death.  They say his wife, 54-year old Donna Hollon, had also been shot.  She was rushed to Frankfort Regional Hospital, where she died.

KSP says the couple’s 18-year old daughter, Daisy Hollon, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.  The cause or extent of those injuries were not released by investigators.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort to determine the couple’s cause of death.

Investigators say they are not looking for any suspects.
