Another UK women’s basketball player transfers

LEXINGTON, KY (WTVQ)- Frankfort native Brooklynn Miles is leaving the Kentucky women’s basketball team after one season in Lexington.

Miles, a transfer from Tennessee before this past season, averaged 5.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game under former Head Coach Kyra Elzy.

“Coming back home and doing what I love in front of the people and community I love has been a dream come true,” said Miles in an Instagram post. “I love you Big Blue Nation, but with that being said, I will be entering my name in the transfer portal.”

Miles is the latest player to transfer from the team after Elzy was fired in March.
