Annual Rupp Arena blood drive

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Blood center is holding its annual Rupp Arena Blood Drive on Monday January 22nd.

Donors will have the opportunity to shoot around on the court, then donate blood to save a life.

They will also receive a big blue slam t-shirt and the chance to spin a prize wheel.

The drive will be held from 9:30 A.M. To 6:00 P.M. At Rupp, and there will be free parking available in the Manchester lot behind the arena.

Blood donors must be at least 17-years-old, weigh at least 110 pound and be in good general health.

Donors need to show a state-issued I.D.

This drive helps improve the blood supply during the slow winter months for blood donation.
