Annual Lex Glow Ride to light up the night on Nov. 4

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Lexington’s third annual Glow Ride will take place this Saturday, Nov. 4, lighting up the night sky for a good cause.

The ride will be on Brighton Trail behind 1750 Bryant Road to promote safe walking and riding behaviors.

The Glow Ride kicks off at 5 p.m. and will be followed by a parade lineup at 6:45.

This event is set for the weekend of the time change to highlight the importance of being safe and seen when riding in the dark as well as helping cyclists feel more comfortable and confident riding.

A variety of activity stations, including free tire checks, bike tune-ups, reflective gear giveaways and a bike decoration station will be available.
